Events this August 2026?

Summer might be heading towards its final few weeks, but there’s still plenty happening across Solihull, Knowle and the surrounding villages this August.

From outdoor theatre in some of Solihull’s most beautiful settings to live music, family adventures, sunflower fields and local community groups, there are plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy where we live.

As a family-run estate agent based in Knowle, we spend a lot of time talking about what makes Solihull such a fantastic place to call home. And it isn’t just the houses — it’s the villages, parks, independent businesses, events and communities that surround them.

So, here are a few things happening locally during the rest of August 2026.

Saturday 29 August 2026
📍 Slow Century Records / Café Viola, 1588 High Street, Knowle, Solihull, B93 0LF

Knowle High Street is getting into the summer spirit with Slow Century Records and Friends’ Summer Jam.

Expect a day of music, food and drinks, with DJs, a raffle and plenty more happening throughout the day.

Café Viola will be serving its usual breakfast before firing up the BBQ for lunch.

If you’re local to Knowle, Dorridge or Bentley Heath, this sounds like a great excuse for a wander into the village over the Bank Holiday weekend.
